The Sudarshana Chakra (, ) is a divine discus, attributed to Vishnu in the Hindu scriptures. The Sudarshana Chakra is generally portrayed on the right rear hand of the four hands of Vishnu, who also holds the Panchajanya (conch), the Kaumodaki (mace), and the Padma (lotus). In the ''Rigveda'', the Sudarshana Chakra is stated to be Vishnu's symbol as the wheel of time. Aluru Venkata Subbarao (5 August 1908 – 24 September 1975), popularly known by his pen name Chakrapani, was an Indian screenwriter, film producer, studio owner, and director in Telugu cinema. He received two Filmfare Awards and was notable for his association with Vijaya Vauhini Studios, one of Asia's largest studios at the time. Chakrapani Chalise () was a Nepalese poet. He wrote the words of the first national anthem of Nepal in 1924 AD to the music composed by Bakhat Bahadur Budhapirthi in 1899 AD (grandfather of musician Louis Banks or Dambar Bahadur Budaprithi). The musical part of anthem was created during Prime Minister Bir Shamsher Jang Bahadur Rana's era. Later the Nepali Language Publications Committee was ordered to write words for the anthem.
