Chadwell Heath is an electoral ward in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham. The ward has existed since the creation of the borough on 1 April 1965 and was first used in the 1964 elections. It is a London borough council, one of 32 in the United Kingdom capital of London. The 1964 Barking Borough Council election took place on 7 May 1964 to elect members of Barking and Dagenham London Borough Council, Barking London Borough Council in London, England. The whole council was up for election and the Labour Party (UK), Labour Party gained control of the council. Background These elections were the first to the newly formed borough.
