''Chabutro'' is a 2022 Gujarati-language film, directed by Chanakya Patel starring Raunaq Kamdar, Anjali Barot, and others produced by Neha Rajora and distributed by Panorama Studios. Plot Viraj is living his dream life in the US but is forced to move back to Ahmedabad due to visa issues. During this time, he meets Nivedita, an architecture student, who is completely opposite to him. Now, Viraj must make a choice. Will he choose to go back or stay here? Raunaq Kamdar (born 1986) is an Indian actor known for his work in Gujarati cinema and Gujarati theatre. Early life Born in 1986 at Mumbai, Kamdar completed his schooling at St. Xavier's High School, Mirzapur, St. Xavier’s High School, Ahmedabad, and studied architecture at CEPT University, Ahmedabad. Career He started his acting career in theatre in 2001 and directed several plays including Frigyes Karinthy's ''The Refund''. Navaratri is an annual Hindu festival observed in the honour of the goddess Durga. It spans over nine nights (and ten days), first in the month of Chaitra (March/April of the Gregorian calendar), and again in the month of Sharada. Garba ( Gujarati: ગરબા) is a form of Gujarati dance which originates from the state of Gujarat in India. The name is derived from the Sanskrit term ''Garbha'' . Many traditional garbas are performed around a centrally lit lamp or a picture or statue of the Goddess Shakti. Traditionally, it is performed during the nine-day Indian festival Navarātrī ( Gujarati: નવરાત્રી, where નવ means 9, and રાત્રી means nights). Either the lamp (the ''Garba Deep'') or an image of the Goddess, Durga (also called ''Amba'') is placed in middle of concentric rings as an object of veneration.
