Cha Cha Real Smooth (EP)
''Cha Cha Real Smooth (Soundtrack from the Apple Original Film)'' is the soundtrack extended play that consisted of original score composed by Este Haim and Chris Stracey for the 2022 film of the same name directed by Cooper Raiff. The album was released on June 17, 2022 by Columbia Records (the same day as it limited theatrical and Apple TV+ release) featured nearly five tracks from their score. The initial film that had much of the score when premiered at the Sundance Film Festival being strip down from the film as Raiff wanted to do with the minimalistic approach on music, to match the diegetic music featured in the film. Being their maiden feature-length score for the duo, the music received positive critical response. Development The film marked both Haim and Stracey's feature-length scoring debut. Este Haim
Este Arielle Haim (born March 14, 1986) is an American musician. She is best known as the bassist and a vocalist of the pop-rock trio Haim, which she formed with her younger sisters Alana and Danielle in 2006. She co-writes all of Haim's songs. Since 2021, Este has composed scores for film and television. She acted as a music consultant for the second season of HBO's '' The White Lotus''. Este was also the executive music producer for the mini-series '' A Small Light'' (2023). Early life Este grew up in the San Fernando Valley, California and studied at LA County's High School For The Arts. Her family is Jewish, though they do not describe themselves as religious. South by Southwest (SXSW) is an annual conglomeration of parallel film, interactive media, and music festivals and Convention (meeting), conferences organized jointly that take place in mid-March in Austin, Texas. It began in 1987 and has continued growing in both scope and size every year. David Sanders (born December 22, 1995), better known by the stage name Jean Dawson, is a Mexican-American experimental pop musician. Since 2018, he has released four albums and over a dozen singles via his own record label P+, and toured across the US and Europe with artists including Brockhampton. Academy Award For Best Original Score
The Academy Award for Best Original Score is an award presented annually by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) to the best substantial body of music in the form of dramatic underscoring written specifically for the film by the submitting composer. Some pre-existing music is allowed, though, but a contending film must include a minimum of original music.
