Ceylin Alvarado
Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado (born 6 August 1998) is a Dominican Republic, Dominican-born Netherlands, Dutch cyclist, who currently competes in cyclo-cross for UCI Cyclo-cross Team , and in road cycling for UCI Women's Team, UCI Women's Continental Team . In 2018, she won the gold medal in the Under-23 race at the UEC European Cyclo-cross Championships in Rosmalen. She repeated this feat in 2019. On 1 February 2020 she became world champion in the elite category at the 2020 UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships in Dübendorf, Switzerland. Cabrera, María Trinidad Sánchez
Cabrera is a town in María Trinidad Sánchez Province, María Trinidad Sánchez province, Dominican Republic. It is located at the eastern end of the country's north coast, at the western extreme of the Scottish Bay, 130 kilometers north of Santo Domingo. The town was originally named 'Tres Amarras', the name it used to be called since its foundation day on July 1, 1891. The city was renamed to 'Cabrera' in honor of the hero of the Capotillo Battle, General José Cabrera. Today Cabrera has a territorial area of 276 km2. Cyclo-cross
Cyclo-cross (cyclocross, CX, cyclo-X or cross) is a form of bicycle racing. Races typically take place in the autumn and winter (the international or "World Cup" season is October–February), and consist of many laps of a short (2.5–3.5 km or 1.5–2 mile) course featuring pavement, wooded trails, grass, steep hills and obstacles requiring the rider to quickly dismount, carry the bike while navigating the obstruction and remount. Races for senior categories are generally between 40 minutes and an hour long, with the distance varying depending on the ground conditions. Rosmalen
Rosmalen () is a town in the province of North Brabant, in the south of the Netherlands. The town is located 6 kilometers east of the city of 's-Hertogenbosch (Den Bosch) and has been part of that municipality since 1996. Its population is around 37,240 on 1 January 2021. UCI Mountain Bike & Trials World Championships
The UCI Mountain Bike World Championships are the world championship events for mountain bike racing in the disciplines of cross country, downhill, and four-cross. They are organized by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), the governing body of world cycling. The first three finishers in each discipline at the World Championships are awarded gold, silver, and bronze medals. The winner of each discipline is also entitled to wear the rainbow jersey in events of the same discipline until the following year's World Championships.
