Ceyda Aktaş
Ceyda Aktaş (born August 18, 1994 in Ankara, Turkey) is a Turkish volleyball player. She is tall at and plays in the wing spiker position. Ceyda describes herself as having been hyperactivity, hyperactive in her childhood. For this, her parents canalized her to performing sports and dancing. She first began with playing basketball, but left it because she was not interested anymore. Ceyda then learned and performed Latin dances, participating at dance competitions as well. Due to her physique, she was discovered by volleyball coaches Zeycan Acar and Taner Atik, who visited her class in the school while searching for potential volleyballers. At the age of ten, Ceyda began playing volleyball in 2004 as a member of Ankara VakıfBank's girls team. After having played for TVF Sport High School between 2009-2011, she transferred to the Istanbul club VakıfBank Türk Telekom in the 2011-12 season. Ankara ( , ; ), historically known as Ancyra and Angora, is the capital of Turkey. TED Ankara College Foundation Schools is a group of private schools in Turkey. College consists of kindergarten, elementary, middle and high schools. TED Ankara College Foundation Schools Incek Campus is located in Ankara, Turkey. History At the request of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the Turkish Education Association (Turkish:Türk Eğitim Derneği, abbreviated TED) was founded in 1928 and led the establishment of qualified Turkish schools. TED Ankara College was founded in 1930 as the first school established by TED, and was the first private Turkish school established after the foundation of Republic of Turkey to instruct in English. Volleyball Players From Ankara
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball. The complete set of rules is extensive, but play essentially proceeds as follows: a player on one of the teams begins a 'rally' by serving the ball (tossing or releasing it and then hitting it with a hand or arm), from behind the back boundary line of the court, over the net, and into the receiving team's court.
