Cerise (comics)
Cerise is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, in particular those featuring Excalibur and other books of the X-Men franchise. Created by Alan Davis, the character first appeared in ''Excalibur'' #47 (March 1992). Publication history Cerise first appeared in ''Excalibur'' #47 (March 1992), created by Alan Davis. Visually the character was a reuse of a design for a proposed series called ''Warpforce'', pitched to DC Comics by Davis and Paul Neary. When DC passed on the series Davis decided to refine the design and include it in ''Excalibur''. Fictional character biography Cerise is an extraterrestrial from the planet Shaskofrugnon in the Shi'ar empire. As she has revealed in her first appearance, she is the gene stock of Subruki, Zarstock, and Kuli Ka. Excalibur (comic Book)
''Excalibur'' is the name of several superhero comic books published by Marvel Comics since 1988 in comics, 1988, generally featuring the team of the Excalibur (comics), same name. The first volumes ran for 125 issues, complemented by several one-shot special editions, between 1987 in comics, 1987 and 1998. The second was a four-issue limited series published in 2001 in comics, 2001, and the third an ongoing series printed from 2004 in comics, 2004 and 2005 in comics, 2005 before being relaunched as ''New Excalibur''. Formerly the servant of Roma, she is currently the Omniversal Majestrix and rightful Ruler of Otherworld, charged with the safety of the Omniverse. Gambit is a Character (arts), fictional character, a superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, usually those featuring the X-Men, a group of which Gambit is typically depicted as a member. The character was created by writer Chris Claremont and artist Jim Lee. Gamora is a character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer/artist Jim Starlin, the character first appeared in ''Strange Tales'' #180 (June 1975).
