Tag team wrestling is a type of professional wrestling in which matches are contested between teams of multiple wrestlers. The IWRG Intercontinental Trios Championship (''Campeon Intercontinental Trios de IWRG'' in Spanish) is a ''Trios'' (six-man) tag team Championship promoted by the Mexican Lucha libre professional wrestling promotion International Wrestling Revolution Group (IWRG) and was introduced in 2000. As it is a professional wrestling championship, the championship was not won not by actual competition, but by a scripted ending to a match determined by the bookers and match makers. On occasion the promotion declares a championship vacant, which means there is no champion at that point in time. The Distrito Federal Trios Championship is a ''Trios'' (six-man) tag team Championship (professional wrestling), Championship primarily promoted by the Mexico, Mexican Lucha libre professional wrestling promotion International Wrestling Revolution Group (IWRG). The title was created in 1986 and is controlled by the "Comisión de Box y Lucha Libre Mexico D.F." IWRG Intercontinental Welterweight Championship
The IWRG Intercontinental Welterweight Championship (''Campeonato Intercontinental Welter IWRG'' in Spanish) is a professional wrestling championship promoted by the Mexican wrestling promotion International Wrestling Revolution Group (IWRG) since 1998. The official definition of the Welterweight weight class in Mexico is between and , but the weight limits are not always strictly adhered to.
