The CERATIZIT Group is a manufacturer of hard material products for wear protection and cutting tools. It is 100% owned by Plansee Holding AG. History CERATIZIT S.A. was created in 2002 as the result of a merger between the companies CERAMETAL (founded in 1931) and Plansee Tizit (founded in 1985). CERAMETAL was founded in Walferdange, Luxembourg, by Nicolas Lanners. In 1948, the cooperation started between CERAMETAL and the company then known as Plansee GmbH. In 1979, CERAMETAL launched production operations in the USA and the first ceramic parts were manufactured in 1988. In 1996, Instrument AG in Bulgaria was incorporated in Plansee Tizit while, at the same time, collaboration got underway with Siel to form Siel Tizit Ltd. in the Indian city of Kolkata. Mamer () is a commune and town (strictly classified as a village) in south-western Luxembourg. It is located west of Luxembourg City. The commune includes Mamer itself, and also the smaller communities of Capellen and Holzem. Mamer is situated on the river Mamer, a tributary of the Alzette. Latrobe, Pennsylvania
Latrobe is a city in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, in the United States and part of the Pittsburgh metropolitan area. The city population was 8,338 as of the 2010 census (9,265 in 1990). Reutte (; Swabian: ) is a market town in the Austrian state of Tyrol. It is the administrative center of the Reutte district ('' Districts of Austria'').
