Central Australia, also sometimes referred to as the Red Centre, is an inexactly defined region associated with the geographic centre of Australia. In its narrowest sense it describes a region that is limited to the town of Alice Springs and its immediate surrounds including the MacDonnell Ranges. ''Centralia'' is the debut studio album by the American band Car Bomb. This was the band's first full-length release, following a 2004 demo. It is also the band's only release through Relapse Records, which dropped the band four years later in 2011. The album's title was named after the doomed town of Centralia, Pennsylvania, which was abandoned during an underground mine fire. Centralia College Of Agricultural Technology
Centralia College of Agricultural Technology was an agricultural college in Huron Park, Ontario near the town of Exeter. It opened in 1967 and operated under the direction of the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Food. The college used local farms, rather than a demonstration farm for field laboratories, in order to gain the cooperation of local farmers. The college was closed due to provincial government cutbacks in the 1993 budget. It closed in the spring of 1994. The college originally provided diplomas in Agricultural Business Management, Animal Health Technology, Food Service Management, and Home Economics. At the time of its closing, Centralia had the only veterinary technician course which was accredited by the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association. Wisconsin Rapids is a city in and the county seat of Wood County, Wisconsin, United States, along the Wisconsin River. The population was 18,877 at the 2020 census. Centralia Canal
The Centralia Canal, also known as Centralia Power Canal, is a canal in Thurston and Pierce counties, Washington, United States. It is the only feature named a canal in Western Washington. The canal parallels the Nisqually River for in and around the city of Yelm. It was built in 1929 to supply water for the 12-megawatt Yelm hydroelectric project belonging to the city of Centralia's City Light Department. Centralia Coal Mine was an open-pit coal mine, owned by the Canadian-based TransAlta Corporation. The mine shut down in 2006. Also referred to as the TransAlta Centralia Mining (TCM) operation, the coal mine was located approximately northeast of the city of Centralia, in Lewis County, in the US state of Washington.
