As one of the oldest markets in Australia, Adelaide Central Market has a large range of fresh food, including fruit and vegetables, meat and poultry, seafood, cheeses, baked goods, small goods, and health foods, along with several cafés and eateries. Currently, approximately one million kilograms of Produce, fresh produce are delivered to the market and sold every month. Tyondai Adaien Braxton (born October 26, 1978) is an American composer and musician. He has composed and performed music under his own name and collaboratively since the mid-1990s, including in the experimental rock group Battles from its formation in 2002 until his departure from the group in 2010. Early life The son of avant-garde jazz composer Anthony Braxton, as a child Tyondai Braxton was exposed to the music of Warne Marsh, Paul Desmond, and John Coltrane through his father. As a teen, he took musical inspiration from alternative rock bands Nirvana and Sonic Youth, as well as punk rock. Braxton studied composition at the Hartt School of the University of Hartford in West Hartford, Connecticut where his teachers included Robert Carl, Ingram Marshall, and Ken Steen. The Central Market of Sabadell (Catalonia, Spain) is a large building designed between 1927 and 1930 by local architect Josep Renom i Costa, spanning both the " monumentalism" typical of the construction craze at the end of Miguel Primo de Rivera's dictatorship and the beginning of the Second Spanish Republic. Background Originally the site of Cardiff gaol, the gallows were located on the site of the current St. Mary Street entrance, where Dic Penderyn was hanged on 13 August 1831. The Central Market is a marketplace on Waterkant in the centre of Paramaribo, Suriname. The building has two floors. The ground floor contains the food market where fruits, vegetables, meat and fish are sold. The top floor is a generic retail market where clothing, cigarettes, CDs and other consumer goods are sold. The market is located on the Suriname River, and is open Monday to Saturday. Overview In July 1959, the city council decided to create a central, permanent market in the city which could accommodate 950 stalls. The design was difficult, because the Suriname River has a large tidal range and a strong currents. The market was constructed with European Union subsidies. Even though Suriname is known for its timber reserves, the wood used was imported from the EU. The roof has a double arch allowing plenty of ventilation inside the building.
