Central Manawa
Central Manawa are a New Zealand netball team based in Wellington. Since 2016 they have represented Netball Central in the National Netball League. Netball Central is the governing body that represents the Hawke's Bay, Manawatū-Whanganui, Taranaki and Wellington Regions. They are effectively the reserve team of Central Pulse. Between 2016 and 2018 they played as Central Zone. Since 2019, they have played as Central Manawa. Between 2017 and 2019, Central Zone/Central Manawa won three successive NNL titles. Kimiora Poi
Kimiora Poi (born 1 November 1997) is a New Zealand netball international. She was a member of the New Zealand teams that won the 2017 Netball World Youth Cup, the 2018 Fast5 Netball World Series and the 2021 Constellation Cup. Since 2018, Poi has played for Mainland Tactix in the ANZ Premiership. Poi was a prominent member of the 2020 and 2021 Mainland Tactix teams that played in two successive grand finals. Ahead of the 2022 season, Poi was appointed Tactix captain. Early life, family and education Kimiora is a Māori with Ngāti Porou affiliations. She was born in Gisborne, New Zealand. Netball is a ball sport played on a court by two teams of seven players. It is among a rare number of sports which have been created exclusively for female competitors. The sport is played on indoor and outdoor netball courts and is specifically played in schools. Netball is most popularly played in Commonwealth nations. Cushla Myra Arama Lichtwark (born 29 November 1980) is a New Zealand netball player and association footballer. Career She played netball in the ANZ Championship for the Central Pulse since the inaugural season of the Wellington-based in 2008, and became captain of the side in 2009. She also became a member of the New Zealand Accelerant Group since 2008. After retiring from professional netball in 2011, she began her football career, which she had played as a child. New Zealand Women's National Rugby Sevens Team
The New Zealand women's national rugby sevens team represents New Zealand in the World Rugby Sevens Series, Rugby World Cup Sevens, Summer Olympic Games and the Commonwealth Games. Te Amo Amaru-Tibble (born 11 May 1989) is a New Zealand netball player who has had three spells playing for Central Pulse. She first played for Pulse between 2009 and 2011, during the ANZ Championship era. In 2016 and 2017, she had a second spell. In 2021, Amaru-Tibble returned to Pulse for a third time. Saviour Tui (born 17 October 2001) is a Samoa netball international. Tui was a member of three title winning teams in New Zealand's National Netball League. Horncastle Arena
Christchurch Arena is an indoor arena in Christchurch, New Zealand. It is located in the suburb of Addington. It has gone through a series of name changes, the most recent of which prior to its current name having been Horncastle Arena. Description The arena is New Zealand's second-largest indoor arena with a maximum capacity of 8,888 (depending on event type), it was the largest until the construction of Auckland's Vector Arena in 2007.
