Cem Avşar
Cem Avşar (born 1988) is a Turkish politician and businessman. He is one of the founding members of the Democracy and Progress Party (DEVA). He entered the 28th term of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey as a Tekirdağ deputy. Biography Avşar was born in 1988 in Bakırköy, Istanbul. His family is from Malatya. He studied economics in Berlin and at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge. He worked in the construction and tourism sector. He made investments in Çerkezköy and Çorlu regions of Tekirdağ. In 2019, he became the president of Cem Foundation. In 2020, he became one of the founding members of the Democracy and Progress Party (DEVA). He was appointed as the Chief Advisor in the party administration in 2021, and as the Head of Local Governments and Urbanism Policies in the Central Executive Board in 2022. Bakırköy
Bakırköy is a municipality and Districts of Turkey, district in the European part of Istanbul Province, Turkey. Its area is 29 km2, and its population is 226,685 (2022). Bakırköy lies between the State road D.100 (Turkey), D.100 highway (locally known as E-5) and the coast of the Sea of Marmara. Bakırköy houses a large Bakırköy Psychiatric Hospital, psychiatric hospital, and is an important shopping and commercial center. Çerkezköy
Çerkezköy is a municipality and district of Tekirdağ Province, Turkey. Its area is 86 km2, and its population is 206,829 (2022). Çerkezköy is located in inland Thrace just to the west of the outlying Istanbul districts of Çatalca and Silivri. Çerkezköy is an industrial area. It is from Tekirdağ and from Istanbul but in many ways has closer links to the bigger city. The mayor is Vahap Akay ( CHP). History Until the 1800s this was a village called 'Türbedere'. Çorlu () is a municipality and district of Tekirdağ Province, northwestern Turkey. Its area is 531 km2, and its population is 300,296 (2024).
