Cellophane (Holy Holy Album)
''Cellophane'' is the fifth studio album by Australian indie rock band Holy Holy, released on 22 September 2023 through Wonderlick Entertainment and Sony Music Australia. Upon announcement on 11 August 2023, Timothy Carroll said "We formulated this idea of Holy Holy as this kind of songwriting factory". Furthermore, via the press release, Holy Holy said the album is about "shedding their inhibitions, alleviating themselves of the weight of expectation, and pushing their sound to new territory." To promote the release, Holy Holy performed six intimate events across Australia's east coast in September 2023. At the 2023 J Awards, the album was nominated for Australian Album of the Year. Holy Holy are an Australian indie rock band formed by songwriters Timothy Carroll (vocals, rhythm guitar) and Oscar Dawson (lead guitar) in 2011. The pair were later joined by session and touring musicians Ryan Strathie (drums) and Graham Ritchie (bass guitar). They have released six studio albums and have been nominated for two ARIA Awards. In 2025, the band announced that they would go on an indefinate hiatus. Sumner is an Australian electronic duo songwriter formed in Launceston, Tasmania, Australia, in 2018. The pair met by living in the small town of Launceston, and finding each other's music through mutual friends. They decided to link up to play a gig as ‘Sumner’. The name 'Sumner' originated from Chloe's middle name. Their song "Stranded" received full rotation on triple j and made it into the Triple J Hottest 200, 2021. Chloe suffers from Epilepsy. The duo signed to Pnau's label 'Lab78' in 2021. In August 2023, Sumner featured on Holy Holy's single "Ready".The song was used for a Channel 7 promotional video. Mastering is a form of audio post production which is the process of preparing and transferring recorded audio from a source containing the Audio mixing (recorded music), final mix to a data storage device called a master recording, the source from which all copies will be produced (via methods such as pressing, duplication or Replication (optical media), replication). Leon Zervos
Leon Zervos is a mastering engineer who has worked with artists including Pink, Rihanna, Maroon 5, Beastie Boys, and Willie Nelson. Life and career Leon Zervos began his mastering career in 1982 at the then EMI Studios 301 in Sydney, where he worked with the likes of INXS, Crowded House, and Midnight Oil. Moving to New York City in 1992, he worked mastering for Absolute Audio for six years, before taking on the role of Senior mastering engineer at Masterdisk in 1993, where he added artists such as Aerosmith, Mobb Deep, Maroon 5, Avril Lavigne, Gavin DeGraw, Duran Duran, Ben Folds and NSYNC to his mastering portfolio, with some of the music he mastered going on to win GRAMMY Awards.
