Album
An album is a collection of audio recordings (e.g., music) issued on a medium such as compact disc (CD), Phonograph record, vinyl (record), audio tape (like 8-track cartridge, 8-track or Cassette tape, cassette), or digital distribution, digital. Albums of recorded sound were developed in the early 20th century as individual 78 rpm records (78s) collected in a bound book resembling a photo album; this format evolved after 1948 into single vinyl LP record, long-playing (LP) records played at rpm. The album was the dominant form of recorded music expression and consumption from the mid-1960s to the early 21st century, a period known as the ''album era''. Jazz
Jazz is a music genre that originated in the African-American communities of New Orleans, Louisiana, in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Its roots are in blues, ragtime, European harmony, African rhythmic rituals, spirituals, hymns, marches, vaudeville song, and dance music. Since the 1920s Jazz Age, it has been recognized as a major form of musical expression in traditional and popular music. Jazz is characterized by swing and blue notes, complex chords, call and response vocals, polyrhythms and improvisation. As jazz spread around the world, it drew on national, regional, and local musical cultures, which gave rise to different styles. Jason Jamal Jackson (born July 26, 1987), known by his stage name 03 Greedo, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer from the Watts neighborhood of the city of Los Angeles, California. He began to gain recognition for his ''Purple Summer'' mixtape series that started in 2016. He saw further attention with the release of his mixtape, ''The Wolf of Grape Street'' (2018). His debut studio album, ''God Level'', was released on June 26, 2018. In April 2018, Jackson was sentenced to 20 years in prison on drug trafficking and possession of a firearm charges. He began his prison sentence in late June, 2018. On January 8, 2023, it was announced that 03 Greedo would be released from prison after a successful parole hearing in June, 2022. He was released on January 12. Never Broke Again, also known as Never Broke Again, LLC, often abbreviated as NBA, is a record label based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, founded by American rappers YoungBoy Never Broke Again and OG 3Three Never Broke Again in 2015. Motown is an American record label owned by the Universal Music Group. Founded by Berry Gordy, Berry Gordy Jr. as Tamla Records on January 12, 1959, it was incorporated as Motown Record Corporation on April 14, 1960. ''I Rest My Case'' is the fifth studio album by American rapper YoungBoy Never Broke Again. It was released on January 6, 2023, by Never Broke Again and Motown. It features production from YoungBoy's in-house engineer, Jason "Cheese" Goldberg, alongside Tay Tay, D-Roc, Swiger Music, DJ Trebble, Khris James, DeCastro, Vinatge Rippah, Dmac, Getro, Kid Krazy, Powers Pleasant, TnTXD, Wayv, and Yo Benji, alongside several other notable producers. Kentrell DeSean Gaulden (born October 20, 1999), known professionally as YoungBoy Never Broke Again or NBA YoungBoy, is an American rapper. From Louisiana, United States, Gaulden released eight independent mixtapes and garnered a regional following for his work. He signed with Atlantic Records and Artist Partner Group in the latter year to release the singles "Untouchable (YoungBoy Never Broke Again song), Untouchable" and "No Smoke (YoungBoy Never Broke Again song), No Smoke", both of which marked his first entries on the Billboard Hot 100, ''Billboard'' Hot 100. Alternative rock (also known as alternative music, alt-rock or simply alternative) is a category of rock music that evolved from the independent music underground of the 1970s. Alternative rock acts achieved mainstream success in the 1990s with the likes of the grunge subgenre in the United States, and the Britpop and shoegaze subgenres in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
