Celine Tedenby
Celine Tedenby (born 15 June 1999) is a Swedish ice hockey player and member of the Swedish national team. She is signed in the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL) with Brynäs IF on a 1+1 contract through the 2025–26 season. She represented Sweden at the 2022 IIHF Women's World Championship. Playing career As a child, Tedenby developed in the minor ice hockey department of Jarveds IF in her hometown of Örnsköldsvik, on the east coast of Sweden in the north-central historical province of Ångermanland. She attended the of Örnsköldsvik Gymnasium and MODO Hockey, which is known for having produced a number of successful players, including icons of Swedish ice hockey Peter Forsberg, Victor Hedman, Maria Lindh, Emma Nordin, and Daniel and Henrik Sedin. Örnsköldsvik
Örnsköldsvik (; ), often shortened to just Ö-vik, is a Urban areas in Sweden, locality and the seat of Örnsköldsvik Municipality in Västernorrland County, Sweden, with 32,953 inhabitants in 2017. Modo Hockey
Modo Hockey (or MoDo with uppercase letters) is a professional ice hockey club in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden. The team currently plays in Sweden's second-tier league HockeyAllsvenskan after losing to HV71 after the play out following the 2024/25 season. The club was founded in 1987 and has won one title, the SHL championships, in 2007. The team's home arena since 2006 is the Hägglunds Arena (previously known as ''Fjällräven Center'' and ''Swedbank Arena''). Before then, the team played at Kempehallen, beginning in 1964. 2015–16 Riksserien Season
The 2015–16 Riksserien season was the ninth season of the Swedish Women's Hockey League. The season began in September 2015 and ended in March 2016. It was the last season the league was known under the Riksserien name, changing to Svenska damhockeyligan (SDHL) the following year. Rookie
A rookie is a person new to an occupation, profession, or hobby. In sports, a ''rookie'' is a professional athlete in their first season (or year). Assist (ice Hockey)
In ice hockey, an assist is attributed to up to two players of the scoring team who shot, passed or deflected the Puck (sports)#In ice hockey, puck towards the scoring teammate, or touched it in any other way which enabled the Goal (ice hockey), goal, meaning that they were "assisting" in the goal. There can be a maximum of two assists per goal. The assists will be awarded in the order of play, with the last player to pass the puck to the goal scorer getting the primary assist and the player who passed it to the primary assister getting the secondary assist. In ice hockey, a goal is scored when the puck entirely crosses the goal line between the two goal posts and below the goal crossbar. 2014–15 Riksserien Season
The 2014–15 Riksserien season was the eighth season of the Swedish Women's Hockey League. The season began in September 2014 and ended in March 2015. After going undefeated during the regular season, Linköping HC won their second consecutive Swedish championship. It was the last season in which the league played with eight teams, expanding to ten before the 2015–16 season, the last season in which Piteå-based Munksund-Skuthamns SK played, being taken over by Luleå HF in the summer of 2015, and the first season in which SDE Hockey played in the top flight. Modo Hockey Dam
MoDo Hockey are an ice hockey team in the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL), the top flight of women's hockey in Sweden. They play in Örnsköldsvik, in the historical province of Ångermanland on the east coast of Sweden, at the Hägglunds Arena. The club's farm team, Modo Hockey 2, plays in the North division of the Nationella Damhockeyligan (NDHL). History The women's section of Modo Hockey was formed in 1968 under the name of Modo AIK, playing the first ever organised women's hockey match in Sweden against Timrå IK in 1969. Henrik Lars Sedin (born 26 September 1980) is a Swedish ice hockey executive and former centre who played his entire 17-season National Hockey League (NHL) career with the Vancouver Canucks from 2000 to 2018. Emma Nordin
Emma Elisabeth Nordin (born 22 March 1991) is a former Swedish ice hockey forward and member of the Swedish national ice hockey team, who last played in the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL) with Luleå HF/MSSK.
