''Celestial (Versão Brasil)'' (English: ''Heavenly (Brazil Version)'' and also known as ''Celestial (Versão Português)'' (EN: ''Heavenly (Portuguese Version'') in 2020 limited version) is the third and final studio album in Portuguese by Mexican pop group RBD, released on December 4, 2006 through the EMI label. It is the Portuguese version of ''Celestial'', RBD's third Spanish studio album. The record contains eight tracks in Portuguese, and three tracks from the original in Spanish. The album sold more than 600,000 copies throughout Brazil, Portugal and the United Kingdom. Background and release With the end of the telenovela ''Rebelde'', from which RBD originated, the group's members could finally dedicate more time to music. Pedro Damián
Pedro Muñoz Romero (born 29 November 1952), known as Pedro Damián, is a Mexican television producer, actor, director and executive producer of popular teen telenovelas. His works include '' Clase 406, Lola, Érase Una Vez, Mis XV,'' ''Rebelde, Like, la leyenda and RBD: La Familia,'' distributed within and outside Mexico. "Celestial" is a song recorded by the Mexican pop group RBD for their third Spanish studio album of the same name. It was released on 13 March 2007 as the second single from the album. Composition and lyrics The song was written by Carlos Lara and Pedro Damián and is a Latin pop song with elements of pop rock. Lyrically, it is about the band telling their ex-lovers that they will get over them, with Maite and Alfonso stating in the pre-chorus: "Pronto desde mis cenizas, me veras volar", (Eng.: "Soon from my ashes, you will see me fly").
