Cornelis "Cees" Dekker (born 7 April 1959 in Haren, Groningen) is a Dutch physicist, and Distinguished University Professor at the Technical University of Delft. He is known for his research on carbon nanotubes, single-molecule biophysics, and nanobiology. Biography Born in Haren, Groningen in 1959, Dekker studied at University of Utrecht, where he received a PhD in Experimental Physics in 1988. In 1988 Dekker started his academic career as Assistant Professor at the University of Utrecht; in these years he also worked in the United States as Visiting Researcher at IBM Research. It was during this period that Dekker carried out research on magnetic spin systems and on noise in superconductors and semiconductors. Cees Keizer (born 8 January 1986) is a Dutch former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He currently works as a youth coach with FC Volendam. Career Born in Volendam, Keizer played youth football with hometown club FC Volendam before moving to Dutch giants Ajax. He never broke into the first team, and moved to Vitesse, where he made his professional debut in the 2007–08 season. Cees Jan Hamelink (born 14 September 1940) is a Dutch academic known for his work on communication, culture, and technology. He is emeritus professor of international communications and emeritus professor of media at the University of Amsterdam; professor in management information and knowledge at the University of Aruba; and professor of media, religion and culture at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Cees Groot (29 June 1932 – 13 March 1988) was a Dutch footballer who played as a striker for Heerenveen, Stormvogels, Ajax, Zaanstreek and the Pittsburgh Phantoms during his career. Cornelis Martinus Anthinius Maria Doorakkers (born 2 March 1963 in Gilze, Netherlands) is a former Grand Prix motorcycle road racer. Cees Doorakker was the 250cc Dutch champion in 1984 and 1986. In 1986 he also reached the championship in the 500cc class. Doorakkers raced in the Grand Prix road race world championship between 1984 and 1995. Being a privateer without factory supported machines, he scored only a few points, his best result being a seventh place at the Yugoslavian Grand Prix in Rijeka in 1990. That season he reached a total of 39 points, 16th in the final ranking. In 1991 he finished the season ranked as the top privateer, ranking 14th overall (40 points). Later years were plagued by lack of money, inferior equipment and bad luck, like the jamming of his new engine in the first race of the season in Australia. Cornelis Hendrik "Cees" Krijnen (born 29 May 1969 in Velsen) is a Dutch artist. Krijnen studied at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy and the post-academic education DasArts, both in Amsterdam, Netherlands. In 1999 he won the Dutch art prize Prix de Rome in the discipline Theatre/Visual Arts, with a reality project named ''Financing my Parents Divorce''. This resulted in the ''Woman in Divorce Battle on Tour'', with exhibitions and performances in New York, London, Paris, Luzern, Milan, Montreal (La Biennale de Montreal) and other cities.
