Cedric Gray
Cedric Malik Gray (born October 30, 2002) is an American professional football linebacker for the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the North Carolina Tar Heels. Early life Born in Fort Washington, Maryland, Gray attended Fort Washington Forest Elementary before relocating to Charlotte, North Carolina in 2013 attending Community House MS and Ardrey Kell High School. As a wide receiver, he brought in 143 receptions for 2,467 yards and 27 touchdowns, while also rushing for 70 yards and a touchdown. As a linebacker on defense, he tallied 131 tackles with 12 being for a loss, 4.5 sacks, two pass deflections, three interceptions, a fumble recovery, and a forced fumble. Linebacker
Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and typically line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and so back up the defensive linemen. They play closer to the line of scrimmage than the defensive backs (secondary). The 2022 Holiday Bowl was a college football bowl game played on December 28, 2022, at Petco Park in San Diego, California. The 43rd annual Holiday Bowl, the game featured the Oregon Ducks from the Pac-12 Conference and the North Carolina Tar Heels from the Atlantic Coast Conference. The game began at 5:06 p.m. PST and was aired on Fox. It was one of the 2022–23 bowl games concluding the 2022 FBS football season. Sponsored by San Diego County Credit Union, the game was officially known as the San Diego County Credit Union Holiday Bowl. This was the first Holiday Bowl staged since the 2019 edition, as the 2020 and 2021 editions were canceled due to impact from the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2022 Virginia Cavaliers football team represented the University of Virginia as a member of the Coastal Division of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) during the 2022 NCAA Division I FBS football season. Led by first-year head coach Tony Elliott, the Cavaliers compiled an overall record of 3–7 with a mark of 1–6 in conference play, tying for sixth place in the ACC Coast Division.
