Cebu Queen City United Football Club was a Filipino association football club based in Cebu City, Philippines. It was founded in 2011 and affiliated with Cebu Football Association. History Entry to the United Football Cup The club was founded last 2011 to compete in the UFL Cup by Ricky Dakay as a manager with Glenn Quisido and Raffy Musni of Cebu Amateur Football Club (CAFC). The team members came from various clubs of Cebu. The first match of the club was scheduled on 9 October 2011, however, it was postponed due to the unplayable pitch from heavy rains. The Cebuanos asked the league to find another venue for their game considering that the team had spent money to bring the whole team to Manila for the weekend. UFL Division 2
The United Football League Division 2, often referred to as UFL Division 2 or UFL 2, was the second-tier association football league in the Philippines. During its existence, it is the second-highest division of football in the Philippines after UFL Division 1. Each year, the winner of the league gets an automatic promotion to the latter. The second placer, on the other hand, goes against the ninth placer of the first division in a two-legged playoff. UFL Division 2 was introduced for the 2010 season. The AFC President's Cup was an annual international association football competition between domestic clubs sides run by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) held between 2005 and 2014. The competition targeted emerging football nations, and was set below the AFC Champions League and AFC Cup competitions. The 2012 United Football League was the third season of the UFL since its establishment as a semi-professional league in 2009.
