Ceará River
Ceará (, ) is one of the 26 states of Brazil, located in the Northeast Region, Brazil, northeastern part of the country, on the Atlantic Ocean, Atlantic coast. It is the List of Brazilian states by population, eighth-largest Brazilian State by population and the List of Brazilian states by area, 17th by area. It is also one of the main tourist destinations in Brazil. The List of capitals in Brazil, state capital is the city of Fortaleza, the country's fourth most populous city. José Martiniano de Alencar (May 1, 1829 – December 12, 1877) was a Brazilian lawyer, politician, orator, novelist and dramatist. He is considered to be one of the most famous and influential Brazilian Romantic novelists of the 19th century, and a major exponent of the literary tradition known as " Indianism". Aratinga
''Aratinga'' is a genus of South American conures. Most are predominantly green, although a few are predominantly yellow or orange. They are social and commonly seen in groups in the wild. In Brazil, the popular name of several species usually is ''jandaia'', sometimes written as ''jandaya'' in the scientific form. Many species from this genus are popular pets, although being larger than the members of the genus '' Pyrrhura'', they need a sizable aviary to thrive. Taxonomy The genus ''Aratinga'' was introduced in 1824 by the German naturalist Johann Baptist von Spix. The type species was subsequently designated as the sun parakeet.
