Cayratia Pedata
The genus ''Cayratia'' consists of species of vine plants, typical of the tribe Cayratieae. Some of them are useful, and they are found in tropical and subtropical areas of Asia, Africa, Australia, and islands of the Pacific Ocean. Within the Vitaceae, ''Cayratia'' is most closely related to ''Tetrastigma'' and ''Cyphostemma''. As previously configured, the genus ''Cayratia'' was found not be monophyletic (for example, ''C. japonica'' was moved to '' Causonis'' being distinct from ''Cayratia pedata'', the type species). Cayratia Debilis
''Cayratia debilis'' is a species of flowering plant in the Vitaceae family. It is native to equatorial Africa. It has herbaceous or slightly woody vines, with 5-foliate leaves and greenish-white or yellow flowers. Its stem, leaves and sap are used in herbal medicine in various African countries, and the leaves are eaten as a vegetable on the island of Bioko. Its fruits are inedible, although are fed to poultry in the Central African Republic to protect from influenza and coccidiosis Coccidiosis is a parasitic disease of the intestinal tract of animals caused by coccidian protozoa.
