Alessandro Cavallaro
Alessandro Cavallaro (born 22 February 1980, in Paternò) is an Italian sprinter who specialized in the 200 metres. Biography He finished seventh in Athletics at the 2000 Summer Olympics – Men's 4 × 100 metres relay, 4 x 100 metres relay at the Athletics at the 2000 Summer Olympics, 2000 Olympic Games, together with teammates Francesco Scuderi (athlete), Francesco Scuderi, Maurizio Checcucci and Andrea Colombo. He also won the gold medal at the 1999 European Junior Championships, - GBR Athletics and competed at the 2002 European Championships in Athletics, 2002 European Championships, the 2003 World Championships in Athletics, 2003 World Championships and the 2006 European Championships in Athletics, 2006 European Championships without reaching the final.
