Catinca Tabacaru Gallery is a contemporary art gallery in New York City opened in May 2014. Catinca Tabacaru Gallery, Harare, the Gallery's second location was founded in August 2017 in partnership with Dzimbanhete Arts Interactions. History The gallery was founded by Catinca Tabacaru, a Romanian-born art dealer and curator, who worked as a litigation attorney and executive director of Women's Voices Now, in 2014 in the Lower East Side neighborhood of New York City. Tabacaru also co-founded and served as the executive director of Women's Voices Now, an organization that encourages women's filmmaking in Muslim-majority communities. In 2012, she stepped down from Women's Voices Now to focus primarily on her art career, and opened her first physical space for the Catinca Tabacaru Gallery in 2014. Contemporary Art Gallery

Addam Yekutieli
Addam Yekutieli a.k.a. ''Know Hope'' (1986) is an American-born Israeli artist who creates social practice projects, immersive installations and public artworks. He became known for his work in the streets of Tel Aviv under the pseudonym ''Know Hope''. He is one of the first Israeli street artists to gain international recognition. Biography Yekutieli grew up in a mixed heritage home, with roots in Japan, USA, and Israel. In his teens, he found inspiration in punk subculture and skateboarding. This heavily influenced the aesthetics in his early work. In his late teens he began creating art in streets of Tel Aviv. Although his art was categorized as street art, Yekutieli did not use traditional aerosol spray paint, but rather acrylic paint, markers, paper and cardboard. Patricia Cronin (born in 1963 in Beverly, Massachusetts) is a New York-based feminist cross-disciplinary artist. Since the early-1990s, Cronin has garnered international attention for her photographs, paintings and sculptures that address contemporary human rights issues. Barnaby Furnas
Barnaby Furnas, (born Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 1973), is an American painter and former graffiti artist who lives and works in New York City. He studied at the School of Visual Arts in New York and received a BFA in 1995 before going on to study at Columbia University in New York, receiving an MFA in 2000. He makes his own paint from pigment mixed with urethane. Tracey Karima Emin, CBE, RA (; born 3 July 1963) is a British artist known for her autobiographical and confessional artwork. Rico Gatson is a multidisciplinary artist working from Brooklyn, New York, whose work draws from his African-American background. Through his art, he provides social commentary on significant moments in African-American history. His work combines abstract patterns with vibrant colors, which creates confrontational work that references African American culture and history. Early life and education Rico Gatson was born in Augusta, Georgia in 1966 but grew up in Riverside, California. His parents, a nurse and a landscaper contractor, migrated to the East Coast during the Great Migration and joined the newly formed Black middle class.
