Mercy Health, formerly Catholic Health Partners, is a Catholic health care system with locations in Ohio and Kentucky. Cincinnati-based Mercy Health operates more than 250 healthcare organizations in Ohio and Kentucky. Mercy Health is the second largest health system in Ohio and the state's fourth-largest employer. On September 1, 2018, Mercy Health and Bon Secours Health System USA combined to become Bon Secours Mercy Health. The Sisters of the Humility of Mary is a Roman Catholic religious congregation, founded at Dommartin-sous-Amance, France, in 1855. The community immigrated to the United States in 1864, and established themselves near New Bedford, Pennsylvania. Mercy Health West Hospital
Mercy Health West Hospital is a non-profit hospital in Green Township, a suburb of Cincinnati owned and operated by Mercy Health. It is a short-term acute care hospital with 230 beds and 620,000-square-feet of medical facilities. Upon opening on October 15, 2013, Mercy Health West Hospital became the first hospital in the area to "include a heart center, cancer center, family birth center, women's center and a comprehensive orthopedics program". Mercy Health Fairfield Hospital is a 219-bed non-profit hospital in Fairfield, Ohio in Butler County owned and operated by Mercy Health. History Mercy Health Fairfield was opened in 1978 to serve greater Cincinnati and the Miami Valley area. The hospital was the first hospital in Bulter County to offer open heart surgery.
