"Catch a Wave" is a song written by Brian Wilson and Mike Love for the American rock band, the Beach Boys, released on their 1963 album '' Surfer Girl''. In 1964, a rewritten version of the song was recorded by Jan and Dean as " Sidewalk Surfin'". It was released as a single and reached No. 25 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100. The Beach Boys
The Beach Boys are an American Rock music, rock band formed in Hawthorne, California, in 1961. The group's original lineup consisted of brothers Brian Wilson, Brian, Dennis Wilson, Dennis, and Carl Wilson, their cousin Mike Love, and their friend Al Jardine. Distinguished by their vocal harmonies, adolescent-oriented lyrics, and musical ingenuity, they are one of the most influential acts of the rock era. The Rock-afire Explosion
The Rock-afire Explosion (RAE) is an animatronic character band designed and manufactured by Creative Engineering, Inc. (CEI) for use in ShowBiz Pizza Place restaurants in the 1980s and early 1990s. The band's characters are various Anthropomorphism, anthropomorphized animals, including a brown bear, a Gray wolf, grey wolf and a Gorilla, silverback gorilla. They perform medleys of classic rock, Pop music, pop, and country music, as well as original compositions and comedic skits. CEI was founded by inventor Aaron Fechter, who oversaw production of the animatronics and provided several of the characters' voices. The band was replaced by Chuck E. Cheese characters and renamed Munch's Make Believe Band following ShowBiz Pizza's decision to rebrand in the early 1990s. ''Kidsongs'' is an American children's media franchise that includes Kidsongs Music Video Stories on DVD and video, the Kidsongs TV series, CDs of children's songs, songbooks, sheet music, toys, and a merchandise website. It was created by producer Carol Rosenstein and director Bruce Gowers of Together Again Video Productions. The duo had produced and directed over 100 music videos for Warner Bros. ''How to Swim'' is a cartoon made by Walt Disney Productions in 1942, featuring Goofy. Plot The cartoon opens with Goofy demonstrating the bathing suit and using a piano stool to demonstrate swimming techniques, such as the windmill stroke, the Australian crawl, the side stroke, and the breaststroke. As Goofy is doing this, he is unaware that he, using the stool, has exited his house and, with the help of a street light, got back in his house, but accidentally fallen in the bath. Next, Goofy demonstrates changing into swimming gear in a beach locker, which is too small for him. Dennis Wilson
Dennis Carl Wilson (December 4, 1944 – December 28, 1983) was an American musician, singer, and songwriter who co-founded the Beach Boys. He was their drummer and the middle brother of bandmates Brian Wilson, Brian and Carl Wilson as well as a first cousin of other bandmate Mike Love. Dennis was the only true surfer in the Beach Boys, and his personal life exemplified the "California sound, California myth" that the band's early songs often celebrated. He was also known for his association with the Manson Family and for co-starring in the 1971 film ''Two-Lane Blacktop.'' Wilson served mainly on drums and backing vocals for the Beach Boys.
