Castle Hotel, Manchester
The Castle Hotel is a historic public house in Manchester, England. The Campaign for Real Ale considers it to have an "interior of exceptional national historic importance." History The present building was originally opened in 1776 as The Crown and Sceptre, before being named the Castle Hotel in the late 19th century. In , the pub was remodelled by Kay's Atlas Brewery, who added glazed tiles to the exterior frontage of the ground floor. On 19 June 1988, the Castle Hotel became a Grade II listed building. A live music venue since the early 1990s, the building fell into disrepair by the 2000s and closed in 2008. Manchester Victoria station in Manchester, England is a combined mainline railway station and Metrolink tram stop. Situated to the north of the city centre on Hunts Bank, close to Manchester Cathedral, it adjoins Manchester Arena which was constructed on part of the former station site in the 1990s. The Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) is an independent voluntary consumer organisation headquartered in St Albans, England, which promotes real ale, cider and perry and traditional British pubs and clubs. With just under 155,000 members, it is the largest single-issue consumer group in the UK, and is a founding member of the European Beer Consumers Union (EBCU). Rupert Hill
Rupert Sinclair Hill (born 15 June 1978) is an English actor. He is known for his roles in several soap operas. Hill started with small roles on television. He appeared in an episode of '' EastEnders'' as Robbie's half-brother Kevin Bolton, and also played a part in a music video by the band Haven. Hill subsequently went into the ongoing role of Cameron Davenport in daily serial '' Family Affairs'', a role he played from 2002–2004.
