Castellan, in the context of the BBC television series '' Doctor Who'', is a title adopted by one or more high-ranking Time Lords, such as Castellan Spandrell, Castellan Kelner and the unnamed Castellan, who is/are member/s of the High Council of Gallifrey and is/are in charge of the security of the Citadel. Ron Jones (6 August 1945 – 9 July 1995) was a British television director. Born in Bristol, he joined the BBC as a studio manager in local radio then became an assistant floor manager on television. After a period as a researcher and item director on ''Blue Peter'' he worked as a production manager on series such as '' Bergerac'' and '' Secret Army''. Master (Doctor Who)
The Master, is a recurring character in the British science fiction television series ''Doctor Who'' and its associated spin-off works. He is a renegade alien Time Lord and the childhood friend and later archenemy of the title character, the Doctor. He is most recently portrayed by Sacha Dhawan. Multiple actors have played the Master since the character's introduction in 1971. Within the show's narrative, the change in actors and subsequent change of the character's appearance is sometimes explained as the Master taking possession of other characters' bodies or as a consequence of regeneration, which is a biological attribute that allows Time Lords to survive fatal injuries or old age. Gallifrey
Gallifrey () is a fictional planet in the long-running British science fiction television series '' Doctor Who''. It is the original home world of the Time Lords, the civilisation to which the protagonist, the Doctor belongs. It is located in a binary star system 250 million light years from Earth. It was first shown in '' The War Games'' (1969) during the Second Doctor's trial, though it was not identified by name until '' The Time Warrior'' (1973–74).
