Cassie Stokes (born 5 April 1987) is a television presenter with TV3. Career She initially joined TV3 as a Promotions Assistant. She appeared on-screen as the Twitter correspondent on ''Tonight with Vincent Browne'', helping the experienced journalist figure out how to use the "Tweet machine" live on air. Mario Rosenstock referred to her in his television sketches on the programme ahead of the 2011 general election. She considers Browne her mentor and maintained contact with him for years afterwards. She worked as a cyber reporter on the 3e programme ''FYI'' for three years until 2013. She left Ireland in 2013 and worked as a co-host on ''Entertainment Tonight Canada''. Virgin Media One, also called Virgin One, is an Irish free-to-air television channel owned by Virgin Media Ireland (part of Liberty Global), operated through its subsidiary Virgin Media Television. The channel was known until 30 August 2018 as TV3 (and until 2006 as TV Three, launched on 20 September 1998), becoming Ireland's first commercial television channel. Dundrum, Dublin
Dundrum (, ''the ridge fort''), originally a town in its own right, is an outer suburb of Dublin, Ireland. The area is located in the postal districts of Dublin 14 and Dublin 16. Dundrum is home to the Dundrum Town Centre, the largest shopping centre in Ireland. History One of the earliest mentions of the area concerns the location of the original St. Nahi's Church in the 8th century on which site today's 18th-century church currently stands. The ancient name for Dundrum is " Taney" which derives from ''Tigh Naithi'' meaning the house or place of Nath Í. Modern archaeological excavations near the church have revealed three enclosures associated with the church, the earliest dating from the 6th century, and one of the finds included an almost complete Flemish Redware jug from the 13th century. Early life Born in Shannon, County Clare, O'Loughlin was educated locally before later attending Villiers School in Limerick. She subsequently studied journalism at Dublin City University (DCU). Career O'Loughlin began her broadcasting career while studying journalism at DCU. As part of her internship she worked on the '' Today with Pat Kenny'' show on RTÉ Radio 1 where she reported on a range of current affairs subjects. She later completed her studies in Toulouse. Vincent Browne (born 17 July 1944) is an Irish print and broadcast journalist. He is a columnist with ''The Irish Times'' and ''The Sunday Business Post'' and a non-practising barrister. From 1996 until 2007, he presented a nightly talk-show on RTÉ Radio, ''Tonight with Vincent Browne'', which focused on politics, the proceedings of tribunals on political corruption and police misconduct.
