Casey Woods
Casey Woods (born May 15, 1983) is an American football coach and former player. He is currently the offensive coordinator and tight ends coach at Southern Methodist University. Woods played wide receiver at the University of Tennessee. Coaching career Early career Immediately following his playing days, Woods moved in to a graduate assistant role with for the Tennessee Volunteers working with the wide receivers for the 2008 season. From 2009 through 2011, Woods served as an offensive quality control coach on Gene Chizik’s Auburn staff, winning a national championship in 2010. Starkville Academy
Starkville Academy (SA) is a private kindergarten through 12th grade school in Starkville, Mississippi, operated by the Oktibbeha Educational Foundation. It was founded in 1969 on property adjacent to Starkville High School as a segregation academy. History Before 1969, Starkville maintained a dual system of education, with Black students attending Oktibbeha County Training School (which was later renamed Henderson High School in an attempt to encourage Black students to attend there), while White students attended much better-funded Starkville High School. Rhett Lashlee (born June 9, 1983) is an American college football coach who is the head coach at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. He previously served as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at the University of Miami from 2020 to 2021. Conference USA (C-USA or CUSA) is an intercollegiate athletic conference whose current member institutions are located within the Southern United States. The conference participates in the NCAA's Division I in all sports. C-USA's offices are located in Dallas, Texas. History C-USA was founded in 1995 by the merger of the Metro Conference and Great Midwest Conference, two Division I conferences that did not sponsor football. 2018 UAB Blazers Football Team
The 2018 UAB Blazers football team represented the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in the 2018 NCAA Division I FBS football season as a member of the West Division of Conference USA (C-USA). They were led by third-year head coach Bill Clark and played their home games at Legion Field in Birmingham, Alabama. They finished the season 11–3, 7–1 in C-USA play to be champions of the West Division. They represented the West Division in the C-USA Championship Game where they defeated Middle Tennessee to win their first ever C-USA championship. Tight End
The tight end (TE) is a position in American football, arena football, and Canadian football, on the offense (sports), offense. The tight end is often a hybrid position with the characteristics and roles of both an offensive lineman and a wide receiver. Like offensive linemen, they are usually lined up on the offensive line and are large enough to be effective blockers. On the other hand, unlike offensive linemen, they are eligible receivers adept enough to warrant a defense's attention when running pass patterns. Bill Clark (American Football)
Bill Bradford Clark (born June 28, 1968) is a retired American football coach. He was the head football coach at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). He held the position from 2014 season until June 24, 2022, when he retired because of health issues dealing with his back. Career Clark was born in Anniston, Alabama and grew up in Piedmont, Alabama, where he graduated from Piedmont High School. A pivotal moment in his life occurred during a summer workout between his freshman and sophomore years. He suffered a back injury while attempting to squat an excessive amount of weight. The injury worsened as he continued to play through it. The 2014 Vizio BCS National Championship Game was the national championship game of the 2013 college football season, which took place on Monday, January 6, 2014. Gus Malzahn
Arthur Gustavo Malzahn III (; born October 28, 1965) is an American football coach. He is currently the head coach at the University of Central Florida (UCF). He was the head football coach at Auburn University from 2013 to 2020. During the 2012 season he was the head football coach at Arkansas State University, after being the offensive coordinator at Auburn (2009 to 2011).
