Casey Spooner
Casey Spooner (born February 2, 1970) is an American musician and artist. He resides in Paris, Los Angeles, and New York City. Early life and education Spooner was born in Athens, Georgia. He attended University of Georgia and later went on to study at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Work Solo Music Spooner has contributed and worked on shows with Doorika, a performance arts collective based in Chicago and New York City. Casey joined experimental New York performance ensemble The Wooster Group in 2007, taking on the role of Ophelia's brother Laertes in their production of ''Hamlet'' (which featured two Fischerspooner songs that were composed for the show). In 2009, Spooner did a DJ tour before the album “Entertainment” came out. He was also performing with the Wooster Group during this time. John Michael Stipe (; born January 4, 1960) is an American singer-songwriter and artist, best known as the lead singer and lyricist of alternative rock band R.E.M. He is known for his vocal quality, poetic lyrics and unique stage presence. Possessing a distinctive voice, Stipe has been noted for the "mumbling" style of his early career. ''Entertainment'' is the third studio album by electroclash duo and performance troupe Fischerspooner, released on May 5, 2009 in the United States, and on May 4 around the world. On April 19, 2009 a teaser for this album appeared on YouTube. ''Odyssey'' is the second full-length album by electroclash duo and performance troupe Fischerspooner, released on April 5, 2005, in the United States, and on April 11 around the world. Despite being recognized as one of the more successful acts from the electroclash scene, Fischerspooner changed their musical direction, and created ''Odyssey'' as more of a synthpop record.
