Casey Spooner
Casey David Spooner (born February 2, 1970) is an American musician and artist. He resides in Paris, Los Angeles, and New York City. Early life and education Spooner was born in Athens, Georgia. He attended University of Georgia and later went on to study at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Work Solo music Spooner has contributed and worked on shows with Doorika, a performance arts collective based in Chicago and New York City. Casey joined experimental New York performance ensemble The Wooster Group in 2007, taking on the role of Ophelia's brother Laertes in their production of ''Hamlet'' (which featured two Fischerspooner songs that were composed for the show). In 2009, Spooner did a DJ tour before the album “Entertainment” came out. He was also performing with the Wooster Group during this time. Mumok (from the full name ; "Museum of modern art, Ludwig Foundation, Vienna") is a museum in the Museumsquartier in Vienna, Austria. The museum has a collection of 10,000 modern and contemporary art works, including major works from Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso, Joseph Beuys, Nam June Paik, Wolf Vostell, Gerhard Richter, Jasper Johns and Roy Lichtenstein. John Michael Stipe (; born January 4, 1960) is an American singer, songwriter and artist, best known as the lead singer and lyricist of the alternative rock band R.E.M. Stipe was born in Metro Atlanta in January 1960. Due to his father's military commission, his family moved constantly, with Stipe spending part of his childhood in West Germany before finishing high school in suburban St. Louis, St Louis. ''Entertainment'' is the third studio album by electroclash duo and performance troupe Fischerspooner, released on May 5, 2009 in the United States, and on May 4 around the world. On April 19, 2009 a teaser for this album appeared on YouTube. Written over a two-year period with producer Jeff Saltzman (The Killers, The Sounds) and recorded independently in a carriage house in Brooklyn with an intimate circle of artists working on the band's live show as Ian Pai, Ben Bromley and Sam Kearney. It originally received a limited run on International DeeJay Gigolo Records, and contained "The 15th", a cover of a Wire song from their album ''154''. ''#1'' has been re-pressed several times with a different track listing. The title "Fucker" was also censored on subsequent releases, either as "!@*$%#", "*#!@¥¿", or "*#!@Y?". "Sweetness", "L.A. Song" and "Megacolon", all from the re-issue were originally released together on an EP titled ''#1 Supplement'' that was discontinued in time for the first re-issue.
