Carson McMillan
Carson McMillan (born September 10, 1988) is a Canadians, Canadian professional ice hockey Forward (ice hockey), forward who is currently playing for EC Kassel Huskies of the DEL2. He was selected by the Minnesota Wild in the 7th round (200th overall) of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career McMillan made his NHL debut with the Wild on April 3, 2011 and scored a goal in his first NHL game against goaltender Jimmy Howard of the Detroit Red Wings. In the 2014-15 AHL season, 2014–15 season, after 13 games with the Toronto Marlies and time with ECHL affiliate, the Orlando Solar Bears (ECHL), Orlando Solar Bears, McMillan was traded to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers in exchange for Peter Sivak on February 20, 2015. Löwen Frankfurt
The Löwen Frankfurt (English: ''Frankfurt Lions'') are a professional ice hockey team based in Frankfurt, Hesse, Germany. They currently play in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga. The club is the successor of the Frankfurt Lions, formed in 1991, which experienced its greatest success in 2003–04 DEL season, 2004 when it won the Deutsche Eishockey Liga. When the Lions folded in 2010 after having had their licence revoked by the DEL a new club was formed, the Löwen Frankfurt, which began play in the lower divisions of German ice hockey. The new club won promotion to the second-tier DEL2 in 2014, and to the DEL itself in 2022. The Löwen play in the Eissporthalle Frankfurt, ice rink on Ratsweg. Assist (ice Hockey)
In ice hockey, an assist is attributed to up to two players of the scoring team who shot, passed or deflected the puck towards the scoring teammate, or touched it in any other way which enabled the goal, meaning that they were "assisting" in the goal. There can be a maximum of two assists per goal. The assists will be awarded in the order of play, with the last player to pass the puck to the goal scorer getting the primary assist and the player who passed it to the primary assister getting the secondary assist. Players who gain an assist will get one point added to their player statistics. In ice hockey, a goal is scored when the puck entirely crosses the goal line between the two goal posts and below the goal crossbar. A goal awards one point to the team attacking the goal scored upon, regardless of which team the player who actually deflected the puck into the goal belongs to (see also own goal). Düsseldorfer EG (short DEG) is a German professional ice hockey team in Düsseldorf. It was Germany's most successful hockey club for a long time and had many international players. The famous Eisstadion at the Brehmstrasse was the home venue for most of the team's history. Idaho Steelheads
The Idaho Steelheads are an American professional minor league ice hockey team based in Boise, Idaho, and a member of the ECHL. The Steelheads play in the Mountain Division of the ECHL's Western Conference since the 2016–17 season. In 1996, the Steelheads were announced as a 1997–98 expansion team by Diamond Sports Management, headed by Cord Pereira, as a member of the West Coast Hockey League (WCHL). The Steelheads and the rest of the WCHL joined the ECHL in 2003. As of 2021, the Steelheads are the westernmost ECHL team. The Bridgeport Islanders (previously known as the Bridgeport Sound Tigers) are a professional ice hockey team playing in the American Hockey League (AHL). They are the AHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders, who own the franchise. The team started in 2001–02 season and were purchased by the Islanders in 2004.
