Carson Coma
Carson Coma is a Hungarian alternative rock band formed in 2018, which won the MTV Europe Music Awards, MTV Europe Music Award for MTV Europe Music Award for Best Hungarian Act#2020s, Best Hungarian Act in 2022. They released their first album ''Corduroy Club'' in April 2019, which included the singles "What A Time To Be Alive" and "Song About My Grandma". Since their first album, on which the majority of songs were in English, they have switched to producing Hungarian-language music. They have subsequently released four further albums, as well as ten non-album singles, and an EP. History The band released their first single, titled ''"What A Time To Be Alive"'', in September 2018, to positive critical reception. They released a further single, ''"Song About My Grandma"'', in April 2019, and then their debut album ''Corduroy Club'' (on which both songs featured) in the same month. Sziget Festival
Sziget Festival (, ) is one of the largest music and cultural festivals in Europe. It is held every August in northern Budapest, Hungary, on Óbudai-sziget ("Old Buda Island"), a leafy 108-hectare (266-acre) island on the Danube. More than 1,000 performances take place each year. The week-long festival has grown from a relatively low-profile student event in 1993 to become one of the prominent European rock festivals, with about half of all visitors coming from outside Hungary, especially from Western Europe. It also has a dedicated "party train" service (with resident DJs) that transports festival-goers from all over Europe.
