Carrie Swidecki is a teacher from Bakersfield who holds various dance game world records. In 2010 Swidecki broke the Guinness World Record for the "longest marathon on a dance or rhythm game", playing '' Dance Dance Revolution'' for more than fifteen hours. In 2011 she again broke the Guinness World Record for the "longest marathon on a dance or rhythm game" with Dance Dance Revolution, playing for 16 hours and nine minutes. She then broke that record and set a new one in 2012, playing ''Dance Dance Revolution X2'' for almost 22 hours. (''DDR X2'') is a music video game, and a part of the '' Dance Dance Revolution'' series. The arcade version of ''DDR X2'' was revealed by Konami on November 20, 2009. The sequel to ''Dance Dance Revolution X'', X2 began public beta testing on November 25, 2009. The game was released in Japan and Asia on July 7, 2010, North America on December 31, 2010, and Europe on May 13, 2011. It was the last arcade installment of ''Dance Dance Revolution'' with international releases until '' Dance Dance Revolution A''. Development The first public location test for ''Dance Dance Revolution X2'' was announced by Konami on November 20, 2009, to be held from the 25th to December 3, 2009 in Akihabara, Tokyo. ''Dance Central 2'' is a music rhythm game for the Xbox 360 and is the sequel to ''Dance Central''. It was released in October 2011. Plot Dr. Tan is monitoring the status of the area in The Airship, laughing while doing so. The player first meets up with Riptide Crew at the High Tide, and when they arrive, Emilia rejects and discloses to them that auditions to be in their crew were last week. Bodie however gives them an opportunity after hearing about the player's potential, and Emilia soon follows forth. Once they are impressed, the player receives their crew card, but not without a warning from Bodie stating that other crews exist nearby, with some of them being unfriendly.
