Carrie (band)
Carrie were a British-based rock music band, featuring the former Levitation (band), Levitation and Some Have Fins singer/guitarist Steve Ludwin, ex-EMF (band), EMF bass player Zac Foley, guitarist Dennis Dicker, and Australian drummer, Bruce Pawsey. Their sound was characterised by a juxtaposition of glossy production and multi-layered harmony, harmonies with often dark lyrics, lyrical material. The band's name derived from the Star Wars actress, Carrie Fisher. The band evolved from another North London band called Pura Vida, with John Plunkett as guitarist, Simon Davies (formerly of Manchester band The High) as bassist and keyboard player Sammie Cannon. Under that name, they released two EPs on the EMI-funded label Org Records circa 1996 – "Sister Was Sick" and "Vivien". Island Records
Island Records is a multinational record label owned by Universal Music Group. Levitation (band)
Levitation were an English psychedelic rock band formed in London in 1990. The band consisted of frontman Terry Bickers (formerly guitarist with The House of Love), drummer David Francolini, guitarist Christian Hayes, bassist Laurence O'Keefe and keyboardist Robert White. Bickers announced his departure from the band onstage at Tufnell Park Dome in north London on 14 May 1993. The release of the band's already completed second album ''Meanwhile Gardens'' was shelved. The band enlisted former Some Have Fins frontman Steve Ludwin to replace Bickers, and in 1994 the new line-up released a remixed version of ''Meanwhile Gardens'' in Australia featuring new vocals from Ludwin. During their initial eight-year run, from 1989 to 1997, the band released three studio albums before a hiatus. Harmony

Little Hell (band)
Little Hell was a London-based rock band formed in 2001 by former Some Have Fins/ Levitation/ Carrie singer Steve Ludwin. History The band was first formed in 2000 following the demise of Carrie. Ludwin maintained his working relationship with Carrie guitarist Dennis Dicker, but stepped back from his frontman duties, concentrating instead on songwriting and guitar playing. Instead, vocalist Lucy Johnston was recruited as frontwoman and the lineup was completed by bass guitarist Natasha Moledina and drummer Clive Dicker. Little Hell signed to Double Dragon Records and released their first limited edition 7-inch single "Lose It".
