Carpophthoromyia
''Carpophthoromyia'' is a small genus of Afrotropical picture-winged flies (Tephritidae). They are usually darkly coloured and of medium size, and mostly develop in the fruit of various species of ''Drypetes'' (Putranjivaceae, formerly Euphorbiaceae). ''Carpophthoromyia'' is closely related to '' Perilampsis''.
