Carolane Soucisse (born February 10, 1995) is an ice dancer who represents Republic of Ireland, Ireland and formerly Canada. With her skating partner, Shane Firus, she is a two-time Irish national champion (2023–24) and represented Ireland at the European Figure Skating Championships, European and World Figure Skating Championships, World Championships. Skating with Firus for Canada, she is the 2018 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships, 2018 Four Continents silver medallist. They have finished third at the 2020 Canadian Figure Skating Championships, 2020 Canadian Championships and represented Canada on the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating, Grand Prix circuit and at the World Figure Skating Championships, World Championships. 2024 World Figure Skating Championships
The 2024 World Figure Skating Championships were held from March 18–24, 2024, at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada. Sanctioned by the International Skating Union (ISU), the World Championships are considered the most prestigious event in figure skating, second only to the Olympics. Montreal had originally been scheduled to host the 2020 World Championships, which were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Romain Haguenauer
Romain Haguenauer (born 16 July 1976) is a French ice dancing coach, choreographer, and former competitor. He is best known for his work with the French five-time World and 2022 Olympic champions Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron; and with Canadian three-time World champions and two-time Olympic champions Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir. He has also coached the top-ranking American teams of Madison Hubbell and Zachary Donohue, and Madison Chock and Evan Bates. Personal life Haguenauer was born on 16 July 1976 in Lyon, France. 2014–15 Figure Skating Season
The 2014–15 figure skating season began on July 1, 2014, and ended on June 30, 2015. During this season, elite skaters competed at the 2015 European Championships, Four Continents Championships, World Junior Championships, and World Championships. They also competed at elite events such as the Grand Prix series and Junior Grand Prix series, culminating at the Grand Prix Final, and the inaugural Challenger Series. The ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating (titled the ISU Junior Series in the 1997–98 season) is a series of international figure skating competition, junior-level competitions organized by the International Skating Union. Pascal Denis (born May 20, 1975, in Repentigny, Quebec) is a Canadian former ice dancer. Patrice Lauzon (born November 26, 1975) is a Canadian ice dancing coach and former competitor. With his wife Marie-France Dubreuil, he is a two-time (2006–2007) World silver medalist. Personal life Patrice Lauzon was born in Montreal, Quebec, the son of Cecile and Norman Lauzon. He married Marie-France Dubreuil in August 2008. On December 24, 2010, Dubreuil gave birth to their daughter, Billie-Rose. Competitive career Lauzon initially took figure skating classes to improve his hockey skating. He took up ice dancing at the age of twelve. Early in his career, he competed with Marisa Gravino and Chantal Lefebvre.
