Carola Zirzow
Carola Zirzow (born 15 September 1954, in Prenzlau) is an East German sprint canoer who competed in the mid-1970s. She won two medals at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal with a gold in the K-1 500 m and a bronze in the K-2 500 m events. Bärbel Köster
Bärbel Köster (later Madaus, born 26 May 1957) is an East German sprint canoer who competed in the mid to late 1970s. She won a bronze medal in the K-2 500 m event at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal.
