Carol Becker
Carol Becker is an American writer and academic administrator. She is a professor of the arts and has served as the dean of the Columbia University School of the Arts since 2007. Life Becker earned a Ph.D. in English and American literature from the University of California, San Diego. She is a professor of the arts at Columbia University. In 2007, she became dean of Columbia University School of the Arts. She lectures on art, artists and their place in society, and feminist theory Feminist theory is the extension of feminism into theoretical, fictional, or Philosophy, philosophical discourse.
