Carnival Music Company is an independent music publishing company located in Nashville, Tennessee. Carnival was founded in 1997 by Travis Hill and Frank Liddell (Liddell produced albums for Miranda Lambert, David Nail, Lee Ann Womack, Brandi Carlile, Charlie Worsham, Jack Ingram, the Eli Young Band, and Kellie Pickler). Carnival celebrated its fifteenth #1 song in 2017 with Darius Rucker's For The First Time. Carnival Music is the parent company to the record label, Carnival Recording Company. Frank Liddell (record Producer)
Frank Austin Liddell III (born November 13, 1963) is an American record producer. A former artists and repertoire director at Decca Records, he founded Carnival Music in 1999. Liddell is also married to singer Lee Ann Womack, for whom he has produced. Other acts that Liddell produces include Eli Young Band, David Nail, and the first six studio albums by Miranda Lambert. Liddell won the Grammy Award for Best Country Album in 2015 for Lambert's ''Platinum''. He has also won the Academy of Country Music's Album of the Year award three times: for ''Crazy Ex-Girlfriend'' in 2008, ''Revolution'' in 2010, and for '' Four the Record'' in 2012. Derik Hultquist is an American singer/songwriter from Alcoa, TN. He is currently a staff writer for Carnival Music in Nashville, TN. Derik has also released three Extended play, EP's with Carnival Recording Company; ''Whether Report'' (2012), ''Leaning On The Rain'' (2012), ''Mockingbird's Mouth'' (2014). Biography Growing up an orphan in Alcoa, TN Hultquist split his time between sport, athletics and music. Derik went on to attend Kentucky Wesleyan College where he played Goalkeeper (association football), goalie for the men's soccer team. Derek George (born in Philadelphia, Mississippi) is an American country music singer, songwriter, and guitarist currently signed to Spirit Music Group.
