Carlos Salcedo
Carlos Joel Salcedo Hernández (born 29 September 1993), also known as El Titán, is a Mexican professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Liga MX club Monterrey. Salcedo played for the youth academies of Guadalajara and Tigres UANL before moving to Real Salt Lake, where he made his professional debut in 2013. He returned to Guadalajara in 2015. The following year, he moved abroad with loan spells at Fiorentina and Eintracht Frankfurt, securing a permanent move with the latter. In January 2019, he returned to Mexico to join Tigres UANL. Salcedo went on to play for Toronto FC, Juárez, Cruz Azul and Monterrey. In April 2015, Salcedo received his first call-up to Mexico national team. 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup
The 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup was the 15th edition of the CONCACAF Gold Cup, the biennial international men's association football, soccer championship of the North, Central American, and Caribbean region organized by CONCACAF. Vancouver Whitecaps Football Club is a Canadian professional soccer club based in Vancouver. The Whitecaps compete in Major League Soccer (MLS) as a member of the Western Conference. Homegrown Player Rule (Major League Soccer)
The Homegrown Player Rule is a Major League Soccer program that allows MLS teams to sign local players from their own development academies directly to MLS first-team rosters. Before the creation of the rule in 2008, every player entering Major League Soccer would have to be assigned through one of the existing MLS player allocation processes, such as the MLS SuperDraft. MLS roster rules allow a team to sign players to contracts similar to Generation Adidas contracts, which do not count against the MLS salary budget and may earn a much higher salary than the league minimum. MLS has since removed this wording from the roster rules. The 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup was the tenth and final edition of the FIFA Confederations Cup, a quadrennial international men's Association football, football tournament organised by FIFA.
