Carlos Hevia
Carlos Hevia y de los Reyes-Gavilan (March 21, 1900 – April 2, 1964) was the interim President of Cuba, serving for less than three days. During the third week of 1934, Hevia was President from 5:00 p.m. on Monday, January 15, until 1:20 a.m. on Thursday, January 18. Cuban junta leader Fulgencio Batista had obtained the resignation of Hevia's predecessor, Ramón Grau. The choice of Hevia was unpopular with the military, and by Wednesday, the new President was asked to resign. He was replaced by Manuel Márquez Sterling. Presidency of Cuba Hevia was the Agricultural Minister when rioting broke out in Havana protest against the President Grau. Aurelio Hevia
Aurelio Crispin Francisco Hevia y Alcalde (October 25, 1866 - January 22, 1945) was a colonel in the Cuban Revolution and was the Cuban Secretary of Interior. During the administration of Mario García Menocal he was appointed as the Cuban Secretary of Interior. Ernesto Dihigo Y Lopez Trigo
Ernesto Dihigo y López Trigo (23 January 1896 – 1991) was a prominent Cuban jurist, diplomat, and professor. He served as the Cuban Foreign Minister during the administration of the presidency of Carlos Prio Socarras (1950-1951). He served as the Cuban Ambassador to the United States from January 1959 until February 1961 after the regime of Fulgencio Batista was overthrown by Fidel Castro. Dihigo was a member of the Cuban Supreme Court in 1943 and served as a delegate to the United Nations. He served on the commission that wrote the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Dihigo's draft declaration was among the first considered when the U.N. Commission on Human Rights began work in 1946. He also pushed successfully for the Organization of American States to adopt its own American Declaration of the Rights and Duties of Man and to establish an inter-American human-rights court.
