Carlos García López
Carlos Alberto García López (9 September 1958 – 27 September 2014), better known as El Negro García López, was an Argentine guitarist and rock and roll musician, and one of the most influential instrumentalists of Argentine rock. Alongside Patricia Sosa, he formed part of La Torre, one of the most popular rock bands in early 1980s Argentina. He would later form part of Charly García's ensemble, Los Enfermeros, before launching his own project, the García López Band, in 1992. In 2012, García López was named the 12th most influential guitarist in Argentine rock by ''Rolling Stone'' magazine. He died in 2014 in a car accident on his way back to Buenos Aires from filming a music video. Almafuerte was a heavy metal band from Argentina, formed by bassist and lead singer Ricardo Iorio in 1995, after the dissolution of Hermética. History In 1994, Hermética, a heavy metal band from Argentina, broke up. Bassist Ricardo Iorio formed, one year later, Almafuerte, with guitarist Claudio "El Tano" Marcielo and drummer Claudio Cardacci. In 1995 they released their first studio album, ''Mundo Guanaco'', which included songs of both Hermética and of V8 (another of Ricardo Iorio's previous bands), and some new ones written by Iorio (most of them dealing with social issues). Sierra De La Ventana
Sierra de La Ventana is a village in Tornquist Partido in the southwest of the Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. With a population of 1,819 inhabitants (), it is one of the most attractive tourist centres in the Province and has numerous recreation areas and parks. The town, originally called Villa Tívoli Argentina, was founded on 17 January 1908 by Diedrich Meyer and developed around the railway station.
