Carlos Cojuangco
Carlos "Charlie" Oppen Cojuangco (April 14, 1963 – February 22, 2022) was a Filipino politician who served in the Philippine House of Representatives for two different districts: Tarlac's Tarlac's 1st congressional district, 1st district and Negros Occidental's Negros Occidental's 4th congressional district, 4th district. Political career Cojuangco served in the House of Representatives of the Philippines, Philippine House of Representatives as congressman of Negros Occidental's Negros Occidental's 4th congressional district, 4th district from 1998 to 2007, and then as congressman of Tarlac's Tarlac's 1st congressional district, 1st district from 2016 until his death, when he replaced his uncle Henry Cojuangco, who died in 2015 and did not finish his term. Negros Occidental's 4th congressional district is one of the six congressional districts of the Philippines in the province of Negros Occidental. It has been represented in the House of Representatives of the Philippines, House of Representatives since 1987. The district consists of the area in north-central Negros Occidental immediately to the south of the capital city of Bacolod.
