Carlos Castellan
Carlos Castellan (born 8 February 1962) is a former professional tennis player from Argentina. Career Castellan was a semi-finalist in the boys' singles event at the 1980 French Open. Also that year, he made the Orange Bowl final, which he lost to Joakim Nyström. The Argentinian was a member of back to back Galea Cup winning sides, in 1980 and 1981. He also represented his country at Davis Cup level, once, in 1982, when he lost a singles rubber to Hans-Dieter Beutel of West Germany. Castellan made two Grand Prix quarter-finals in 1981, at the Mar del Plata Open and Chilean Open. In the 1982 French Open, he beat Frenchman Jérôme Potier in an opening round match which went to five sets. He was then eliminated by Andrés Gómez. At the French Open two years later, Castellan defeated fellow qualifier Simon Youl, but again fell in the second round, this time to Harold Solomon, in four sets. Harold Solomon
Harold Solomon (born September 17, 1952) is an American former professional tennis player who played during the 1970s and 1980s. He achieved a career-high world ranking of No. 5 in singles in 1980, and of No. 4 in doubles in 1976. Over the course of his career, he won 22 singles titles. Solomon was inducted into the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Hall of Fame, the USTA Mid Atlantic Section Hall of Fame, the D.C. Sports Hall of Fame, and the International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame. Simon John Arthur Youl (born 1 July 1965) is a former professional tennis player from Australia. Tennis career Youl was an Australian Institute of Sport scholarship holder from 1981 to 1984. Juniors As a junior player, Youl formed a successful doubles partnership with his fellow Australian player Mark Kratzmann. Andrés Gómez
Andrés Gómez Santos (; born 27 February 1960) is an Ecuadorian former professional tennis player. He won the men's singles title at the French Open in 1990. His son, Emilio Gómez, is a professional tennis player. His nephew Nicolás Lapentti was also a professional tennis player who reached a world ranking of No. 6, and another nephew, Roberto Quiroz, is currently pursuing a career in professional tennis.
