Carlos Brown (American Football)
Carlos Brown (born April 28, 1988) is a former American football running back. He was signed by the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent in 2010. He played college football at Michigan. He has also been an off-season or practice squad member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New York Jets. Early years Brown was a highly recruited running back coming out of Heard County High School. During his high school career, Brown recorded 4,232 rushing yards on 469 carries, with 52 touchdowns. Brown also played defense (cornerback and free safety) in high school, and made 203 tackles, forced 11 fumbles, and intercepted 11 passes. High school awards include all-league and all-conference in his junior and senior years, and ''Parade Magazine'' named Brown an All-American. Brown was ranked as the 5th-best running back in the nation by Rivals.com, 10th-best by ESPN, and 24th-best by Scout.com. Carlos Carr Brown (25 February 1882 – 12 August 1926) was an Argentine international footballer who played as a defender. Early life Brown was an Argentine of Scottish origin. Brown had four brothers who were also Argentine international players – Alfredo, Eliseo, Ernesto and Jorge – as well as one cousin, Juan Domingo. Two other brothers – Diego and Tomás – were also footballers. Antônio Carlos Santos de Freitas, known professionally as Carlinhos Brown (Brazilian Portuguese: /kaʁˈlĩɲus bɾaw̃, -iɲuʃ/, 23 November 1962), is a Brazilian singer, percussionist, and record producer from Salvador, Bahia. His musical style blends funk, latin music, R&B, soul music, reggae, and traditional Brazilian percussion. Early life He was born in Candeal Pequeno, a neighborhood in the Brotas area of Salvador de Bahia, Brazil, to Renato and Madalena. In 1967 he was still a child when Caetano Veloso and Gilberto Gil, two 25-year-old musicians from Bahia, started Tropicália, which would radically change Brazilian music. Osvaldo Alves da Silva, his mentor, introduced him to Brazilian folklore. Depicted as a " lovable loser," Charlie Brown is one of the great American archetypes and a popular and widely recognized cartoon character. Carlos Alan Autry Jr. (also known for a time as Carlos Brown; born July 31, 1952), is an American actor, politician, and former National Football League player. During his brief football career, he was known as Carlos Brown. He played the role of Captain Bubba Skinner on the NBC (and later CBS) television series '' In the Heat of the Night'', starring Carroll O'Connor. He has also appeared in films and other television shows. In November 2000, he was elected mayor of Fresno, California, and served for two four-year terms through January 2009.
