Carlo Petrini (footballer)
Carlo Petrini (29 March 1948 – 16 April 2012) was an Italian professional Association football, football player and coach. Playing career Petrini played as a striker in the Italian Serie A for eight seasons (112 games, 19 goals), representing AC Milan, Torino FC, Torino, A.S. Varese 1910, Varese, Ternana Calcio, Ternana, AS Roma, Roma, Hellas Verona FC, Hellas Verona and Bologna F.C. 1909, Bologna. His career almost ended after he received a three years and six-month ban from football in the Totonero 1980 match-fixing scandal. After 1982, he played for a few more seasons. After retirement After ending his career in football in the mid-eighties, Petrini devoted himself to business, for a time managing his own finance company. After initial success, the business was affected by the accumulation of debts to moneylenders. Monticiano
Monticiano is a town and ''comune'' on the right bank of the Val di Merse, Province of Siena, Tuscany, central Italy. The town is situated on the Colline Metallifere. The 1968–69 season of the European Cup football club tournament was won by AC Milan, who beat Ajax 4–1 in the final, giving Milan its first European Cup title since 1963, and its second overall.
