Carli Mosier
Carliyn Cyd Mosier (born February 28, 1978) is an American voice actress and political activist. She is also a board member for the River Oaks Area Democratic Women (ROADWomen). Mosier has provided voices for a number of English-language versions of Japanese anime series. Early life Mosier was born on February 28, 1978, in Houston, Texas. She is the daughter of Bruce Debs Mosier (1936-2017) and Diane Mosier (1948-2018) who were members of the Democratic Party (United States), Democratic Party and is one of four children in the family. Mosier at a young age attended Kinder High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and the University of Houston. Shakugan No Shana
, also known simply as , is a Japanese light novel series written by Yashichiro Takahashi with illustrations by Noizi Ito. ASCII Media Works published 27 novels from November 2002 to November 2023 under their Dengeki Bunko imprint. The story focuses on Yuji Sakai, a high school boy who becomes involved in an age-old conflict between forces of balance and imbalance in existence; in the process, he befriends a fighter for the balancing force and names her "Shana". Guin Saga
is a best-selling heroic fantasy novel series by the Japanese author Kaoru Kurimoto, in continuous publication since 1979. A record 100 volumes were originally planned, but the current total stands at 149 volumes and 27 side-story novels, with the last nineteen volumes and five side stories being published posthumously. Kurimoto was working on the 130th volume of ''Guin Saga'' up until May 23, 2009, after which point she became too ill to write and died three days later. After the 100th book in the series was published in 2005, an event to celebrate this was held in Tokyo, with 600 attending. Moeyo Ken
is a novel by Japanese author Ryōtarō Shiba. It dramatizes the life of Hijikata Toshizō, a member of the Shinsengumi, active in Japan during the ''bakumatsu'' (the end of the Tokugawa shogunate). The novel was initially serialized from 1962 to 1964 in the Bungeishunjū weekly magazine '' Shūkan Bunshun''. Shinchosha published the complete novel in two volumes. The action takes place in the Ōkunitama Shrine in Fuchū, along the Asa River in and near Hachiōji, in the Mibu area of Kyoto, and in Hokkaidō. Shochiku released a 1966 film of the same title.
