Carleton Place Kings
The Carleton Place Canadians are a Junior A ice hockey team based in Carleton Place, Carleton Place, Ontario. The Canadians compete in the Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL) as a member of the West Division. The team was established in 1969, along with the Kemptville 73's. The Canadians have played their home games at Carleton Place Arena since 1969. The Canadians are owned by Brent Sullivan, which is also the general manager and head coach of the team. The team has twice advanced to the Bogart Cup Finals five times. The Canadians have won four Bogart Cup championships in a row, from the 2013–14 to the 2016–17 season. History The Carleton Place Legion Kings began play in 1969 in the Renfrew-Lanark Junior C Hockey League. Soon after, the league folded and the Legion Kings ended up in the Rideau-St. Lawrence Junior B Hockey League in 1971. This league later became the Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League. Carleton Place is a town in Eastern Ontario, Canada, in Lanark County, about west of downtown Ottawa. It is located at the crossroads of Ontario Highway 15, Highway 15 and Ontario Highway 7, Highway 7, halfway between the towns of Perth, Ontario, Perth, Almonte, Ontario, Almonte, Smiths Falls, and the nation's Capital city, capital, Ottawa. Hawkesbury Hawks
The Hawkesbury Hawks are a Junior A ice hockey team based in Hawkesbury, Ontario. The Hawks compete in the Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL) as a member of the East Division. The team plays its home games at Robert Hartley Sports Complex. The Hawks joined the league in 1974 as an expansion team along with the Navan Grads. The team has advanced to the Bogart Cup Finals three times, winning six times; the last time being in the 2004–05 season. They have won the Fred Page Cup once in franchise history, in 2005, after they won their last Bogart Cup. Pictou County Crushers
The Pictou County Crushers are a Canadian junior ice hockey team based in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia. They are in the Maritime Junior Hockey League's Eastlink South Division along with five other clubs. The Crushers play their home games at the Pictou County Wellness Centre. History The Crushers originated in Halifax. The franchise, under various names in Nova Scotia's capital city, holds the MHL (formerly the MJAHL) record for most championships with 10. As the Halifax Oland Exports, they captured the 2002 Royal Bank Cup on home ice. Due to financial reasons, the team's name was changed to Halifax Team Pepsi for the 2003-2004 campaign. Woodstock Slammers
The Woodstock Slammers were a Junior ice hockey#Junior A, junior "A" hockey team based in Woodstock, New Brunswick. They played as part of the Maritime Junior Hockey League (MHL). The team played their home games at the Carleton Civic Centre, formally known to fans as "Slammerland" or "Slammertown, Canada". The Slammers were a relatively successful team in their 18 year history, winning a NB Junior B League title and Don Johnson Cup (2000), three Kent Cups (2006, 2010, 2012), one Fred Page Cup (2012) and a silver medal at the RBC Cup (2012).
