Carl Steinfort
Carl Steinfort (born 1 April 1977) is an Australian rules footballer who played for both the Geelong (1996–2000) and Collingwood (2001–2002) football clubs in the Australian Football League (AFL). Geelong career Steinfort had a solid five-year stint at Geelong, where at one stage he was regarded as one of the premier run with players in the competition, and was highly regarded by teammates and supporters. Unfortunately his appearances were sometimes limited through injury. His most memorable games included winning an AFL Rising Star nomination in 1997 and his tagging job on Collingwood captain Nathan Buckley in the Cats round 12 defeat of the Magpies. Chad Rintoul
Chad Rintoul (born 31 July 1974) is a former Australian rules footballer in the Australian Football League. Adelaide Crows The midfielder was drafted by the Adelaide Crows in the 1996 AFL Draft from East Fremantle ( WAFL) as a mature age recruit. He played 23 games for the Crows, 11 in 1997 including the premiership game, playing as a small forward for most of the year. In 1998 he played 12 games and although he played in the preliminary final, he was dropped the following week so that the Crows could bring in another ruckman and missed out on a second premiership medal. At the end of 1998 he was traded back to Western Australia by the West Coast Eagles for pick 80 which Adelaide used on 26-year-old Brodie Atkinson. SurfAid International
SurfAid International (often called just SurfAid) is an international charitable organization working in the Mentawai Islands of Indonesia. It was founded by Dr. Dave Jenkins of New Zealand in 2000. In 1999 he was on a surfing trip in the area and saw the health problems of the local people. SurfAid's early efforts were focused on providing health education to the people and mosquito nets to prevent the spread of malaria. SurfAid came to international attention after the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake when it provided medical aid to its victims. It was able to reach people on small islands, who were among the hardest hit, because it used small boats and its people were familiar with the area. Desmond Edmond Headland, Jr (born 21 January 1981) is an Australian rules footballer currently playing for Subiaco in the West Australian Football League, and a conservative political candidate. Michael Raymond Malthouse (born 17 August 1953) is a former Australian rules footballer, who played for the St Kilda Football Club and Richmond Football Club in the Victorian Football League (VFL).
